Clayton's has been a family owned and operated business in Yarmouth, Maine since 1994. In that time, we have developed a reputation for offering the best overstuffed gourmet sandwiches, soups and salads in Southern Maine. All their breads are baked fresh daily and are used to create their delicious, one-of-a-kind sandwiches - like their famous Chicken Salad, Baked Ham and Brie, Portabello Mushroom, and Chesapeake Crabcake sandwiches. Our full menu is available until closing time at 7:00 pm for travelers, boaters, and picnickers. In addition, they offer complete take-home dinners, such as Chicken Empanadas, Spinach and Wild Mushroom Lasagna, Thai Chicken and Vegetable Skewers, and an array of side dishes and salads. Freshly baked muffins, scones and sweets are all baked from scratch daily on premises. Clayton's has a full espresso bar and proudly serves Maine's premiere micro-roasters coffee - Coffee By Design of Portland. The cafe also carries a variety of sweets, from their awesome cookies, brownies and bar cookies to fine chocolates - even penny candy for the kids. Clayton's has recently moved from Main Street to their spectacular new location at 447 US Route One, which offers easy accessibility and abundant parking.
